Protect Your Authentication File
The NuQloud Authentication File helps establish your identity on a new device or browser. Its password protects the file.
Store it safely
Keep at least one protected copy outside NuQloud. Good locations include an encrypted password manager attachment, encrypted removable storage, or a protected offline backup. Store the password separately when practical.
Never do these things
- publish the file to public QDN;
- place it in a public cloud share;
- send the file and password together through ordinary email or chat;
- upload it to an unfamiliar app or website;
- assume an administrator can recreate it for you.
New-device sign-in
Use the file only on the legitimate NuQloud address supplied by your provider. Confirm the domain before entering its password. After the first successful sign-in, the browser may retain encrypted authentication data for later sessions.
If you suspect exposure, contact your provider, preserve any independent wallet backup, and follow the incident instructions for your server.
