Wallet Unlocks and App Approvals
Decentralized Apps use approval prompts to ask for access or an action. The prompt is a decision point, not a routine obstacle.
Before approving
Confirm all three:
- You recognize and trust the app.
- The requested action matches what you just selected.
- The account, amount, recipient, resource, or publish mode is correct.
High-risk confirmations apply to spending, signing, name operations, trades and assets, deployments, polls or votes, and large publishing batches. Keep these confirmations enabled.
Wallet unlocks
An unlock allows compatible requests for a limited period, but it does not remove the need for high-risk confirmation. Use the shortest reasonable unlock window and lock or sign out when finished on a shared device.
Cancel any request you did not initiate. If prompts continue, close the app and report its name and the request shown—without sharing passwords, seeds, or private keys.
