October 2026 Documentation Update
Reviewed October 29, 2026 against current source in the NuQloud platform and its companion repositories. This is a source-based documentation update, not an announcement that every provider has deployed or accepted these changes.
Dashboard and app discovery
Dashboard V2 now discovers permitted native cloud launchers from app navigation. The overview and Apps workspace show enabled apps without exposing launchers restricted to other groups. Q-Chat setup highlights wallet unlock and synchronization, with an optional Qortal Project group-join prompt whose fee still requires confirmation.
The earlier popup/spotlight setup tour has been removed. Ordinary guides, device-setup checklist preferences, and desktop client downloads remain.

Q-Chat through Qortal Hub
The optional shared Hub group interface supports formatted messages, replies, reactions, own-message edits/deletion, channel administration where authorized, and attachments up to 8 MiB/file. Platform, External Auth, and Hub must be deployed as a compatible set. Direct messages, calls, calendar, and Q-Manager are not available in the embedded entry. Public-mesh delivery must still be checked with another current Hub client on the provider's deployment.
This is separate from the deprecated direct Q-Chat/Talk relay. Read Q-Chat group messaging.
AI assistance
Current NuQloud AI source includes scoped knowledge, media transcription, Calendar and Mail tools, private result handling, and action approval controls. Recent Mail work adds threaded replies, larger header listings, folder moves, explicit read-state changes, and received-attachment handling. A provider must configure the required services and assign the relevant capabilities.

Cross-cloud Talk files
The current files module bridges supported native Talk uploads through background jobs, retries delayed delivery, and resolves recipient-specific shares on compatible web/mobile clients. It does not create public links or enable upload actions that upstream Talk refuses. Both participating clouds need compatibility acceptance; automatic revocation when a participant leaves must not be assumed.

Registry publication and public profiles
The registry now has QDN discovery/publication, individual public-profile opt-in/removal, and canonical-instance authority checks. It is beyond the original foundation-only status, while remaining an evolving capability with hardening and deployment acceptance outstanding. Discovery does not establish trusted federation or grant file access. Existing QDN records require an update after a local profile opt-out; removal cannot promise to erase independent copies.
Booking and payments
Standard Appointments has a resumable scheduling wizard. The separate SHEF profile guides setup through Organization, Payments, Service, and Test and share. Commerce owns the payment connections; hosting-plan billing remains separate. SHEF live checkout is still blocked despite the implemented test features.

Other documentation corrections
- Sync is distinguished from an independent backup.
- Safari's macOS Add to Dock support is distinguished from the recommended Chromium-based NuQloud installer.
- Talk, Mail, transcription, and support troubleshooting is expanded.
- NuQloud Computer is identified as a private testing prototype, World as a navigation preview, and the registry as implemented but still evolving.
- Outdated or mismatched screenshot references are removed pending real captures from an approved current test environment.
