Glossary

Authentication File
A protected file used with its password to establish your NuQloud/Qortal-backed identity on a new browser or device.

Cloud share
A user, group, federated, or public-link share served by the NuQloud cloud. It is not automatically a QDN publication.

Decentralized App
NuQloud's user-facing name for compatible Q-Apps opened through its approved embedded browser or full-browser view.

Federation
Cooperation between separate cloud servers without combining them into one server or administrator domain.

NQ_Admin
An optional delegated NuQloud management role with authority intentionally narrower than the built-in administrator.

NuQloud PWA
The installable web version of a NuQloud instance. PWA means Progressive Web App.

Provider
The organization or operator responsible for a managed NuQloud server, its service availability, and its support process.

QDN
Qortal Data Network, the decentralized data layer used for intentional publishing and compatible decentralized applications.

QORT
Qortal's native coin. Some actions use QORT or provider-issued publishing credits.

Q-Chat

Optional Qortal group messaging through the Hub integration. It is separate from cloud Talk conversations and Q-Mail.

NuQloud Commerce

The app that manages payment connections and verified payment operations for registered consumer apps. It is separate from provider account-plan billing.

Stale publication
A file whose cloud copy changed after it was last published to QDN.

Talk
NuQloud's chat, calling, meeting, and conversation workspace.
