What Is NuQloud?

NuQloud is a private cloud workspace that combines familiar productivity tools with optional Qortal-powered identity, applications, communication, and publishing.

Everyday cloud tools

Depending on your server, one account can provide Files, Talk, Mail, Contacts, Calendar, appointments, collaborative documents, Deck projects, tasks, and Notes. You can use the browser, install the NuQloud PWA, or connect compatible desktop and mobile clients.

Decentralized capabilities

NuQloud can also link a Qortal account, open approved decentralized apps, use Q-Mail, and publish selected files or folders to QDN. These are explicit actions. They do not cause all cloud data to become decentralized or public.

Two common service models

  • Managed NuQloud account: a provider operates the server and assigns your plan, storage, and available services.
  • Dedicated or self-hosted NuQloud environment: an organization or operator controls a complete instance and its policies.

Your provider controls server availability and infrastructure. You control your account choices, personal files, linked decentralized identities, approvals, and what you deliberately publish.

Why compatible apps may use another name

NuQloud builds on compatible open-source cloud components. Some mobile and desktop clients may show Nextcloud branding during the current release. Use the server address and login supplied for your NuQloud account.
